Xbox 360 Media Center Extender Issue

So, I thought I’d spend some time and get our 360 up and running as a media center (extender).
I set it up, but when I tried to play any movie I created with my iPhone, it said the file was unknown/unsupported format.

Which is weird because microsoft’s site says it is supported: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows7/File-types-supported-by-Windows-Media-Center

    I got the Optional Media Update installed.
    It “plays” mp4’s from my iPhone(4), but the audio is not sync-ed with the video….
