producer/consumer challenge

I’d like to challenge producers (grocery, packaging, everyone) and consumers to make/buy products that are

1. Resealable
2. Recyclable

Too often, the items for sale require you to store them in wasteful products (tinfoil, etc). It would be great if containers were resealable. I haven’t researched this, but glass jars with metal tops seem to be a good choice (while pastic is recyclable, seems most lids are not).

Also, some portion of the container (or forbid the entire thing) is not recyclable. Bread comes in pastic wrap which as fas as I know is not recyclable. Wheat thins come in cardboard which is recyclable, but the pastic inside is not.

Consumers need to act by buying only products that support these features.
